“My grandmother could not read, not because she didn’t want to… it was not permitted because it was not allowed for someone of color, especially a woman to read.” Imagine the impact on her life! And yet ….it drove me to become the first college graduate in our family and I’m proud to say my three children are college graduates as well. Reading to them before bed was our special time and a time I still cherish. So today, I join others in celebrating Read across America - highlighting the importance of literacy and the impact it can have on a family. I can certainly attest to it.

For years, I have been following her on various social medial channels like (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram). Tamara has been one of the major influencers in my life regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (Iot), Robotics, Cyber Security, Data Analysis, and other technologies as it relates to future trends, the future of work and relationship currency.
